At Aabstract Custom Pools & Spas, we view every project as a unique reflection of the homeowner and their family. As a result, each pool that we design and build has it's own personality. This project in Laurens, SC was designed with a big city penthouse feel. Industrial materials were used to bring it all together. It has a 40 foot long tiled water runnel and a fire runnel under the I-beam water feature. Click image above to view additional images.
Project 41
One of our renovation projects, this pool also is one of the oldest pools in Greenville. As part of the major renovations, the deck and coping were removed and replaced with a pattern Pennsylvania Blue Stone in the patio, and bull nosed coping. The pool was also completely re-plumbed, including the installation of new side wall main drains to comply with the Virginia Graham Baker Act. The water line tile was replaced, along with the interior finish with Pebble Fina, Classico. The walk-in steps are capped with blue stone. To ensure proper water quality, a salt system was also installed, replacing the previous chlorination system. Click image above to view additional images. Project 42
This lagoon shaped pool is finished with White Pearl Pebble Tec. It features a beautiful raised stone wall with Jandy Aqua accent water features. The pergola was installed to provide a frame for ornamental vines to grow on, resulting in a natural shaded area. The pergola also frames the sitting area. Crab Orchard stone coping and caps with a chiseled edge were installed, complimenting the textured deck. This formal pool compliments the architecture of the home. It boasts a pattern Pennsylvania Blue stone patio and bull nosed coping. The interior is a stone type black waterline tile, with Black Marble Pebble Tec, It is equipped with a Jandy PDA controller, Jandy PureLink 700 salt system, Jandy variable speed E- pump, Jandy CV-580 cartridge filter, Paramount PCC 2000 in-floor cleaning system and Paramount O-2 Ozone system. This previously built pool was updated with new water line and fascia tile, and the original brick coping and caps were upgraded to bull-nosed black granite. The spray deck was also updated to reflect a warm earth tone. Click image above to view additional images. Project 45
This unique pool has bull-nosed Pennsylvania blue stone with an acid stain and brick inset patio. The interior finish is white marsite. The pool is equipped with a Paramount PCC 2000 in-floor cleaning system, Jandy CV-580 cartridge filter, Jandy Stealth pump and motor, Jandy Aquapure 700 salt system. This pool has a bull nosed brick coping and textured spray deck, and an interior finish of Pebble Tec Tahoe Blue. The raised brick wall has Jandy Aqua Accent water features. This was a very technical pool/spa combination project. It not only required craning the equipment in and out, but also had to be built within inches of the set back lines. All of the lower and upper brick walls were existing, creating a challenge for building the pool. The pool has Pebble Tec Tahoe Blue interior finish, Tumbled Pennsylvania fascia stone, and Indiana limestone coping and caps. The cantilevered concrete terrace has a simulated finish to mimic the limestone. It is equipped with a Jandy variable speed E-Pump, Jandy CV-580 filter, Jandy Aqua Pure salt system, and a Polaris 9300 Sport robotic pool cleaner. Click image above to view additional images. Another renovation project, the pool had an existing brick terrace in need of repair. We replaced it with a pattern Pennsylvania blue stone with matching bull-nosed coping. We also redesigned and installed a new terrace drainage system. We installed walk in steps and an underwater bench allowing the elimination of the previous ladders that were needed. The interior was upgraded to Black Marble Pebble Tec and a stone type waterline tile. We also replaced the manual chlorine system with a Jandy Aqua pure salt system. This pool and spa combination has a chiseled Crab Orchard stone coping with a textured spray deck terrace with matching stone insets. It has a Caribbean Blue Pebble Tec interior finish with a stone type waterline tile. There is a tanning ledge that doubles as the top step of the pool. the pool is equipped with a Jandy Aqua Pure salt system, Jandy variable speed E-Pump, Jandy CV-580 cartridge filter, Paramount Clear O3 ozone system, Paramount PCC-2000 in-floor cleaning system and a Jandy PDA controller.

This Pool spa combination has a deck level spa with a spill through, It has chiseled Crab Orchard stone coping with a textured spray deck terrace. The Pebble Tec interior finish is White Pearl, with a stone type waterline tile, It is equipped with a Jandy CV-580 cartridge filter, Jandy Stealth pump and motor, Jandy Pure Link salt system, Jandy PDA controller and a Polaris 9300 robotic pool cleaner.

This beautiful courtyard setting is just the place for this formal pool. The pools terrace consist of a pattern Pennsylvania blue stone with a matching bull-nosed coping, the interior finish is a Black Pearl Pebble Tec with a black stone type waterline tile. The pool is equipped with a Jandy CV-580 cartridge filter and a Jandy Stealth pump and motor. It also has a Polaris 9300 robotic pool cleaner. The lawn softens the space and it is framed by the same Pennsylvania blue stone which ties it all together.

This is a creative design which prevents the need for a retaining wall and provides an effect similar to a vanishing edge pool without the edge. The pool terrace and coping is Opossum flagging. The fireplace was stoned with a beautiful contrasting Black Mist stone to provide a rustic yet stately feel. The exposed pool wall has a charcoal black stucco fascia.The stone walls are faced with Tennessee field stone and capped with stone to match the pool terrace and coping. The cantilevered roof has a tongue and groove sealing, metal roof, sealing fans and lighting. The walls and planting beds have accent lighting to enhance the beauty at night. The interior finish of the pool is Black Pearl with a black stone type waterline tile. The pool is equipped with a Paramount in-floor cleaning system, Jandy CV-580 cartridge filter, freeze control time clock and a Jandy Aquapure salt system.
