Pool Construction

Abstract Pools builds steel reinforced gunite pools using  shotcrete, which is a concrete type mixture that is able to be applied using high pressure hoses, as it allows the best durability and flexibility of shape. We prefer gunite over other methods because your pool  can be built to any shape and design, and provides a more attractive product.

Pool Renovation

Quality built pools are designed to last, but the styles and colors that were originally chosen may not! We frequently help customers who have decided that the colors they chose for their pool  in 1984 might not be quite as appealing now, and they want to change them to something a little more modern.

In addition, improper chemical balance can hurt a pools surface, and a pool may need to be updated as a result. The addition of modern chlorination systems can help eliminate this type of problem, as the technology has advanced significantly. The renovation doesn’t stop at the pools edge. We also remove and replace pool patios and add other features such as waterfalls, spas, and outdoor kitchens to existing pools.

Pool Repair

Just like any item you own, sometimes pools require some type of repair. We are available to make repairs to pools built by other contractors such as crack repair, stain removal, and equipment repairs. A well built swimming pool should not crack, unless other outside sources are affecting it such as a change in the surrounding soil or nearby construction that results in a shift in the area surrounding the pool.
